TAMBUNAN: Honesty and strong religious beliefs made four SMK Nambayan hostel students return a sum of RM1,200 to the owner on Saturday.
The students, Claudius Justin, Nel Devilon Neo, Wences Simon and Prydowel Pedro Joseph found the money on the footpath leading to the Tambunan sports complex while going for a training session.

“As soon as we found the plastic containing the cash, we decided to hand it over to the hostel warden to be returned to the owner,” said the student.
The owner named Junior Michael came to the school to claim the money after it went viral in social media.
The owner thanked the students and hoped the honest attitude can be emulated by students in the district and State.
